Blue
Brain
Blue
brain is basically Virtual brain. It is the creation of synthetic brain by
reverse engineering during which the mammalian brains down to the molecular
level. Scientists today are in research to create an artificial brain that can
think, respond, take decision and keep everything in memory. After death of the
body memory, knowledge and feelings will not be lost. The IBM is now developing
a virtual brain known as the “Blue Brain”. It would be the world’s first
virtual brain. A Blue brain is a machine
that can function as brain, take decision, think, respond and can keep things
in memory. It also has feelings
and emotions. The input in Natural Brain is through natural neurons. It interprets
through different states of the neurons in brain whereas in Artificial Brain
the input is through a silicon chip or artificial neurons. It interprets by a
set of bits in the set of register which is possible by the use of small robots
known as the Nanobots. As the
robots are small in size therefore it is easy to travel throughout our circulatory system. By traveling into the
spine and brain, they are able to monitor the activity and structure of our
central nervous system. Nanobots could also carefully scan the structure of our
brain. This information, when entered into a computer, can then continue to
function as us. Thus the data stored in the entire brain will be uploaded into
the computer. The advantage of virtual
brain are remembering things without any effort, making decision without the
presence of a person, using intelligence
of a person after the death, understanding the activities of animals and allowing
the deaf to hear via direct nerve stimulation. The major disadvantage of this
technique is that we become dependent upon the computer and also others may use
technical knowledge against us.
